As per our company policy and according to the indicated legislation, this processing will be based on principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights. In particular, the Company ensures compliance with the rules contained in Legislative Decree 196/2003 “Code regarding the protection of personal data” and subsequent amendments and additions and in EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016 on the protection of personal data, applicable from 25 May 2018.

This document was drawn up pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter GDPR) in order to inform you of our privacy policy. It describes the general methods of processing site users’ personal data and cookies, and how your personal information is managed when you use our site https://www.salov.com/

The information and data provided by you or otherwise acquired during the use of the services on the Site will be processed in compliance with the provisions of the Regulations and the confidentiality obligations that inspire the business of Salov S.p.A. According to the rules of the Regulation, the processing carried out will be based on the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose and storage limitation, data minimization, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.

The Data Controller of the processing carried out through the Site is Salov S.p.A. with registered office at Via Gaetano Luporini 807, Lucca to whom you can write for any information concerning the processing of personal data. The Company has appointed a Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with the rules for the protection of your privacy, who can be contacted for questions relating to the processing of your data, at the following address: dpo@salov.com

This policy is only valid for this Site and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user via links. Please refer to the relevant sections of the Site where you can find specific information and requests for consent for individual processing.

Types of personal data

Following navigation of the Site and use of the services provided, we inform you that the Company will be able to process the following types of personal data:

2.1) Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes: the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check it is functioning correctly. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical cyber crimes against the site. Your data will be kept for a maximum period of 24 months.

2.2) Data provided voluntarily

Failure to provide them could make it impossible to provide the service. In these cases, only the information necessary for the requested service will be required. Your data will be kept for a period of 36 months.

Purpose of the processing and legal basis

The processing of personal data that we intend to carry out, with your specific consent where necessary, pursues the following purpose:

• to allow navigation of the Site and the provision of the Services offered by the Site.

The legal basis of the processing is represented by:

Your rights

With reference to the data processed, the Company guarantees you the possibility of:

• obtaining confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning you and copying them in an intelligible form;
• obtaining the updating, rectification or integration of your data;
• requesting the deletion of your data, within the permitted terms, or requesting that they be anonymised;
• objecting, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning you;
• limiting the processing, in case of violation, by requesting rectification or opposition;
• requesting the portability of electronically processed data, provided on the basis of consent or contract;
• withdrawing consent to the processing of your data, if applicable.

We inform you that the Company undertakes to respond to your requests within 1 month, except in particularly complex cases, for which it could take up to 3 months. In any case, the Company will explain the reason for the delay within 1 month of your request.
The outcome of your request will be provided in writing or electronically. If you request the rectification, deletion and limitation of processing, the Company undertakes to communicate the results of your requests to each of the recipients of your data, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort.
We remind you that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on prior consent.
The Company specifies that you may be asked for a possible economic contribution if your requests are manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive. In this regard the Company will keep a log of your requests.
